Itinerary

Day 1
Coimbatore - Ooty (100kms)

Once you arrive at the railway station and the airport of Coimbatore, drive to Ooty. On arrival, check –into the hotel. After lunch, you are going to cover Ooty Lake, the Botanical Garden, Doddabetta trek and the local market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2
Ooty

After breakfast you will visit some amazing tourist attractions such as Sim’s Park, Ketty Valley, Tea Gardens, Lambs Park, Rose Garden, Dolphin’s nose, Koddandu Point and Avalanche Lake. Return to your hotel.

Day 3
Ooty Kodaikanal (260kms)

After breakfast, move to Kodaikanal. On the way visit, the Palani Temples. Once you reach Kodaikanal, check into the hotel. Evening free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

Day 4
Ooty Kodaikanal

Today enjoy boating or fishing at the Kodaikanal Lake. Later cover Green Valley View, Cocker’s Walk, Bear Shola Falls, Golf Links, Pillar Rocks and Silver Cascade Falls. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5
Kodaikanal Munnar (160kms)

After breakfast, drive to Munnar. Munnar one of the most well-known hill towns of Kerala. It offers a mesmerizing view of the tea plantations and the Cardamom hills on the way. Evening enjoy a leisurely walk. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 6
Munnar

Visit to Eravikulam National Park. You will be able to spot rare mountain goats, called the Nilgiri Tahr. Later visit the Mattupetty Dam and the Dairy Farm. Rest of the day is free. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 7
Munnar Cochin (150 Kms)

After your breakfast drive to Cochin. On arrival, check into the Hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Cochin – visit Hill Palace Museum, Dutch Palace Museum, Jewish Street, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 8
Cochin Departure

Get transferred to the railway station or the airport to board your train or flight for your onward journey.

What is the best time to go Ooty?

The winters in Ooty are colder than rest of the south India. The best time to visit this beautiful hill station is from October to June. In these months, the temperature remains somewhere around 25°C which offers a pleasant weather. It is the best time for traveling and sightseeing.

Which month is best for Ooty?

Ooty is a year-round destination, but the ideal time to visit is between the months of April to June and September to November.

Does snowfall occur in Ooty?

Ooty doesn’t face snowfall. You can see thick frost on the grass early in the mornings but that’s the most you can witness in Ooty. The air above is too warm to form snow crystals in southern regions of India. Possibly, too close to the Equator to encounter snowfall.

Is Munnar worth visiting?

It was very cool in the evening, so definitely plan accordingly if you do decide to visit. Munnar is definitely worth the trip. A very popular tourist attraction in Munnar, Tata Tea Museum is located around 2 km from Munnar in Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea.
