Itinerary
On arrival at Port Blair in the morning by flight, you will be received and transfer to your hotel. After lunch in afternoon visit for a beautiful Carbyn’s Cove sea beach, there after proceed to attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail, where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Over Night stay at port Blair.
In the morning start a day tour by boat to visit Ross Island from where Britisher’s governed the entire Andaman and Nicobar Island, prior to India’s Independence. Then visit to North Bay Island (Coral Island) an ideal spot for coral viewing by glass bottom boat (Optional activity: Snorkeling/ Glass Bottom / Sea Walk / Scuba Diving ).
Early morning departure by Private Boat / DSS govt. ferry to Havelock Island (54 Kms by sea from Port Blair) for sightseeing to Beach No. 7 (Radha Nagar) which is rated as Asia’s beautiful beach by Times Magazine. . It is an ideal place for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach .Overnight stay at Swaraj Dweep Islands.

According to boat schedule, in the afternoon you reach back Port Blair by Private Cruise. On arrive at Port Blair, our representative receive you at Phoenix Bay harbor and escorted you to check in to the Hotel / Resort. After check-in at the hotel overnight stay at Port Blair.

Foreigners are required to carry their passport with a valid Indian visa. Restricted Area Permit will be issued at the airport or port, valid for 30 days, and can be extended for further 15 days upon expiry. There will be no further extensions. You need to go back to any Indian city and board flight again if you wish to explore Andaman.
Indian rupee is the currency used in Andaman. Always carry cash with you as ATMs are only available at Port Blair and Havelock islands. The facility for exchange of currency is only available in Port Blair. Credit cards are only acceptable in big hotels and resorts.
The Andaman is a tropical island. July to September is a rainy season. The best time to visit is from October to May, especially if you are interested in exploring the different water sports offered. The visibility is good and the seas are calmer. But you can expect light showers in November and December.
Though you can get rickshaws or auto rides, it is better to hire a prepaid taxi. Taxis are also included in tour packages. There are private and government ferries which take you from Port Blair to other islands. But the ticket is available only at the counter on first come first served basis.
You can hire a bicycle on a daily basis at Port Blair and Havelock. Carry a license and helmet if you wish to hire a bike. There are no petrol stations and the fuel is sold in cans. If on a shoestring budget, you can travel by bus from Port Blair to Northern Andaman.
In a week long trip you can cover the main attractions and tourists islands on Andaman like Port Blair, Havelock and Neil island. If you wish to explore the various north and south islands then plan for a 10 day trip to Andaman.
The official languages of the island are Hindi and English. Bengali is the most common spoken language. You will also find people speaking other languages like Tamil and Malayalam.
Port Blair is also famous for the historic Cellular Jail and other small islands like Corbyn’s Cove, Wandoor, Ross Island, Viper Island etc. which were once home to British colonists. As of October 2017, it is still not possible to fly to Port Blair from outside India.
Havelock Island offers one of Asia’s best beaches, famous for its swimming elephants and unbeatable reef. Picture the white sandy beaches of Ko Pha Ngan before backpackers, full moon parties and internet cafés, and you have Havelock Island.
Radhanagar is one of the best beaches of Andman. If you want to enjoy the calm waters and the sunset over the horizon, this is the place to be. Other popular tourist beaches of Andaman include Elephant beach, Kala Pathar, Wandoor, Corbyn’s Cove, Vijayanagar, Sitapur, Kalipur beach in Diglipur and many more.
