Overview


Bandhavgarh National Park is a protected wildlife reserve located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The park covers an area of approximately 437 square kilometers (169 square miles) and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna.

The landscape of Bandhavgarh National Park is dominated by dense forests, rolling hills, and rocky outcrops. The park is situated at an altitude of 800 meters (2,625 feet) above sea level and has a tropical climate, with hot summers and mild winters.

The park is home to a large population of Bengal tigers, which are the main attraction for visitors. Other wildlife species that can be found in the park include leopards, wild boars, sloth bears, spotted deer, sambar deer, barking deer, langurs, and Indian bison.

Bandhavgarh National Park is also known for its rich birdlife, with over 250 species of birds recorded in the park. Some of the bird species that can be found in the park include the Indian roller, crested serpent eagle, white-bellied drongo, grey hornbill, and Asian paradise flycatcher, among others.

Apart from its wildlife, Bandhavgarh National Park is also known for its historical significance. The park is home to the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort, which is believed to date back to the 10th century. The fort is located atop a hill within the park and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 1
Day 01: Umaria Or Jabalpur Railwaystation - Bandhavgarh National park

Morning receive you from Umaria railway station and drive to the resort, upon arrival Check-in to your rooms, unpack your luggage and let the feel of jungle enter your soul. Lunch would be served in the enclosed restaurant. After lunch just sit by the poolside. Evening Tea/Coffee Biscuits would be served in the evening.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner in resort.

Dinner & Overnight stay in resort.

Day 2
Day 02: Bandhavgarh National Park

Today you will get an early wakeup call at about 05h15 hrs. Tea/Coffee & Biscuits would be ready, get ready for Jeep safari and the wildlife adventure of Bandhavgarh begins. The duration of safari is between three to five house. You return to lodge by 11 am. Lunch at the resort. The Evening Safari would start by 1530 hrs and you would be returning at about 18h30 hrs. Tea/Coffee Biscuits would be served in the evening, dinner & overnight at resort.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner in resort.

Day 3
Day 03: Bandhavgarh National Park - Umaria

Today it’s a relax morning. Breakfast would be served in the resort, and then drive back to Umaria railway station or Jabalpur railway station to catch the train for your onward journey.

Meals: Breakfast in resort.

Please note Jungle safari can be increased by the Govt. Authority without prior notice, so the difference if any would be charged accordingly.

According to the new rules all national park shall remained closed on ALL WEDNESDAYS.

Below mentioned rates are applicable only for Indian national.
