Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival In Leh

Arrival Leh in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs) Later, in the evening by walk visit Shanti Stupa or Leh Local Market. Overnight Leh

Day 2
Leh - Sham Valley - Leh

After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Sham Valley, visit Likir, Alchi Monastery, Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. Overnight Leh

Day 3
Leh to Nubra Valley

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardongla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft). On your arrival in Nubra Valley check in the hotel / camp After a sumptuous lunch take a walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village, by owns. Day 4
Nubra – Turtuk | Tyakshi – Nubra

After breakfast drive to Turtuk (first time opened for the tourist since 2010) this village was captured by Indians Army in war of 1971 from Pakistan, en route visit Tyakshi (it is the border that divides India and Pakistan) Overnight Nubra Valley.

Day 5
Nubra - Pangong Lake via Shyok River road

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. Overnight Pangong Lake

Day 6
Pangong Lake – Leh

Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. After Breakfast drive back to Leh, en route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace on additional Cost if guest interested, Day Free for Leisure Evening by walk visit Leh Market for Shopping (Own Cost). Overnight leh

Day 7
Leh Departure

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home. Tour ends.

How to reach Ladakh?

For reaching Ladakh you can get direct flights from Delhi to Leh Ladakh or from all the major airports. If you are travelling by roads then there are two options, Srinagar and Manali. Your journey will take two days with one night’s stop through both Srinagar and Manali. These roads are open from the month of May to October.

Can I reach Leh by Train?

No, there is no train service to Leh. Get to Jammu and from there you can take bus or shared Taxi to Leh Via Srinagar & Kargil . Alternatively, you could come to Chandigarh by Train and reach leh via Manali by Road. ask for assistance with our travel executives for more information.

How fit should I be for a Ladakh trip?

As you will be riding on a very high altitude you should be aware of the weather condition and also take care of your health. You should keep in mind that cardio exercises are your real friends for few days.

What are the best bikes for Ladakh trip?

While you are traveling to Ladakh always be prepared for the cold which you are going to face here. Make sure you cross check the list of all the essentials things you must carry for Ladakh trip. You also might be facing a zero degree temperature along with windy conditions. So carry woolen clothing with which should include:

Is it very cold in Ladakh?

Yes it’s very cold, extremely cold. If you are on a journey on a motorcycle, then it’s even worse. When you will reach Khradungla the air will get thinner here and you will start to feel colder. Even though you will be covered with jackets and helmet the cold can be unbearable. So it is advisable that you wear warmers inside because Ladakh winters are extremely cold.

Will there be any lack of oxygen in Ladakh?

Anybody who is travelling 10,000 above sea level will find difficulty in breathing or is likely to fall prey to altitude sickness. It happens due to low level of atmospheric oxygen.

How many minimum days are required to explore Ladakh?

If you go with the minimum days then it will be around 15 days besides the first two of acclimatization. With many villages and Ladakh monasteries scattered at a lot of places, it will take some time for you to explore all the beautiful places. It might be possible that you want to try hands in mountain trek so you need more time.

Is a motorcycle rider’s license to participate on the trip?

Yes, a valid full motorcycle driver license (authorizing you to ride a 500cc motorcycle) and international riding permit are mandatory for riders to take part in our tours. However, they are not required for the co-rider on the pillion or passengers travelling in support vehicles.
Also, make sure you obtain the International Driving Permit (IDP) from your country of citizenship since it is not issued to foreigners in India. In due course, you’ll require obtaining a travel insurance which covers you for riding a 500cc motorcycle in India, before joining the tour

Can small kids go on a Road trip?

Well it totally depends on the health condition of the children who are going on the trip. Dependent kids will be a challenge as weather on high altitudes can change any time so one must be mindful of this fact.
Always carry warm clothing for the children as much as you can if they are a bit ill. It is also advisable to chose the itinerary if you are taking a dependent kid with you which will also help them to adjust with the altitude.
