Itinerary
Welcome to Kathmandu and the start of your holiday! You’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy a guided tour of the Kathmandu Valley, visiting Bodhnath stupa and the ancient city of Bhaktapur, where we explore the beautiful Durbar Square and test our pottery making skills. Our final stop is Patan – the old Newari city with a historic Durbar Square. This evening we enjoy dinner and watch a cultural Nepali dance performance.
Kathmandu – Chitwan. On day 3 we travel to Chitwan National Park, one of Asia’s finest game parks. Over the next two days we’ll enjoy a variety of jungle activities, including a jeep safari, going in search of wildlife including the endangered one horned rhino and the elusive Bengal tiger. Other activities offered by the lodge include a village walk and a jungle nature walk, a dugout canoe ride, bird watching and a visit to the Crocodile Breeding Centre.
Full day visit in Chitwan & enjoy Jungle activities.
We drive to scenic Pokhara today, gateway to the breathtaking Annapurna Mountain Range which consists of five mountains over 7200m and the sacred Machhapuchare Mountain at 7000m. Arriving in the afternoon, there’s time to relax and perhaps take a stroll around the lakeside market.
Watch a beautiful sunrise at the hill top World Peace Pagoda, before a scenic 2 hour walk via Raniban forest back down to Lake Phewa where we enjoy a boat ride. Afternoon visit of a Tibetan refugee camp and a local school before heading to Matepani Monastery to watch the monk’s daily prayer.
A free day for you to explore Pokhara and participate in optional activities such as paragliding, mountain biking, cycling, boating or horse riding. Alternatively, simply relax down by the lake.
We fly back to Kathmandu and then explore more of the city taking in the beautiful Swayambhunath stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and enjoying a rickshaw ride from Hanuman Dhoka to Thamel.
Our tour comes to an end today with a transfer to the airport.
